The National Disability Insurance Scheme became available across the Bayside Peninsula areas on April 1, 2018.
The Bayside Peninsula area covers the local government areas of:
- Glen Eira
- Mornington Peninsula
- Port Phillip
The Brotherhood of St Laurence has partnered with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver Local Area Coordination and Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services.
The Brotherhood is committed to working with communities and service providers to ensure that people with a disability are linked in with supports appropriate to their needs.
For us this means we need to understand the supports available in the communities in which we work, the referral processes and access requirements.
If you need to help a person apply for the NDIS you can step them through the questions on the Access Checklist.
If you have information you would like to share, email us at email@example.com and we will distribute your information to our Local Area Coordination team. Remember to let us know what services you provide, your prices, capacity to deliver and service areas.
