Assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with disability with successful transition to the NDIS is a priority for the Brotherhood. We work closely with Indigenous communities and organisations.
Our workforce is trained to understand and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, and includes people from an Aboriginal background.
People with disability who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander are offered the opportunity to have their NDIS plan completed by a member of our Aboriginal workforce.
A person-centred approach ensures that our team provides a high quality service to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across North East Melbourne, Hume Merri-bek, Bayside Peninsula, Western Melbourne and Brimbank Melton.
