How can I access the NDIS?
If you are a person with disability aged between 9 and 65, you may be eligible for the NDIS. Visit the eligibility checklist on the NDIS website to find out more, call BSL on 1300 275 634 or the NDIS National Contact Centre on 1800 800 110 to get started or visit your local office.
What does a Local Area Coordinator (LAC) do?
Our Local Area Coordination (LAC) team work with all people with disability to connect with supports and services available in the community.
The team are also here to support you on your NDIS pathway. This includes understanding and requesting access, helping you to apply for the NDIS and implement your plan, and checking in with you along the way.

What early childhood services does BSL provide?
The early childhood approach can help you to get information and access to supports if you have concerns about your child’s development. Find out more about our delivery of the early childhood approach here.
How do I make a referral for early childhood services?
You can download our Early Childhood referral form and email the completed copy to BSL.CUSTOMERSERVICE@ndis.gov.au.
If I’m not eligible for the NDIS, can I still access support?
Yes. If you’re a person with disability and not eligible for NDIS funded supports, our team will work with you to connect with services and supports in the community. We can also work with you to create a Community Connections plan if you want one.
