We are developing a new project, Transport for All, with an aim of increasing access and inclusion on the train network in Wyndham.
Feedback from our community consultation indicated that a number of barriers exist for people with disability travelling in Wyndham. This includes physical barriers to accessing platforms, overcrowding at stations, and language and communication barriers.
We’re now looking for people with disability, their families and carers to join the working group to share insights to advocate for a more accessible and inclusive train system that meets everyone’s needs.
How to take part
- Participate in monthly meetings.
- Collaborate with others who care about accessibility and inclusion.
- Share your experiences and ideas to shape more inclusive train travel in Wyndham.
Working group members will receive $50 for each hour of participation in the project.
