Virtual Community Reference Group
July 27 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Update: due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event will now be hosted virtually via Zoom.
Have your say about access and inclusion of people and young children with disability in your community.
BSL NDIS is facilitating a new Community Reference Group in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula areas.
The reference group is an opportunity for BSL NDIS Services to listen to, and work with, people with a disability and their families and carers, to improve inclusion and participation opportunities in their local communities.
The reference group will explore interest in the opportunity to:
- hear of people’s experience of our service – satisfaction, quality and opportunities for improvement.
- work together to build and strengthen communities to be inclusive, by informing our community and mainstream capacity building work
- build the confidence and capacity of members to influence local mainstream, community and service systems.
Who should attend?
People with disability and/or their carers are invited to attend. You don’t need to be accessing the NDIS to participate.
We welcome you to have your say on the design of the group at our workshop on Tuesday 27 July.
