The Australian Government has recently opened public consultation for their review of the Disability Discrimination Act. This review is significant as the Act has not been updated for 15 years and follows the Disability Royal Commission’s recommendations to improve the Act to better protect people with disability.
The Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) is developing a submission to this review and would like to seek the views of people with disability on what the submission should contain.
