The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) allows Australians with a permanent and significant disability the freedom to choose the life they want to live. The Scheme helps people with disability to access the supports right for them as well as assisting in building their skills to actively participate in their community.

The Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) has partnered with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to deliver Local Area Coordination (LAC) and early childhood services for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in North-East Melbourne, Hume Merri-bek, Bayside Peninsula, Western Melbourne and Brimbank Melton.

As a community partner, BSL works alongside people with disability to provide support to access the NDIS and connect with funded supports, community supports and mainstream services.
