Image depicting City of Port Phillips accessible beaches for people with disability

To commence celebrations for International Day of People with Disability, the City of Port Phillip are officially launching new beach matting and beach wheelchairs. This will allow people with a disability to access the shoreline at St Kilda beach and Port Melbourne beaches in Victoria.

The Brotherhood LAC team will be hosting a popup stall at the event, which runs from 10am – 2pm on Sunday, December 2.

On the day, Australia’s Disability Discrimination Commissioner, Mr Alastair McEwin, will provide an overview of the United Nation’s International Day of People with Disability theme for 2017.

Come along and visit the Brotherhood team at this fantastic event!

RSVP your spot by Wednesday November 29 including any access requirements to access@portphillip.vic.gov.au
